Welcome to
International Volunteer Tourism Thailand (IVTT) consultancy
Mission:
- The aim of IVTT is to provide strategic planning, consulting, and marketing communications services to sustainable tourism-related businesses and organizations, as well as development services to volunteer projects, in Western Thailand.
About:
Lindsay Marsh is the Director of International Volunteer Tourism Thailand, a consultancy specializing in volunteer tourism and sustainable community development in Western Thailand. She has over five years experience in the field of volunteer tourism and has acted as Volunteer Coordinator and Fundraiser for various non-profit organizations in Japan and in Canada.
IVTT employs a holistic, bottom-up approach to increasing international volunteer tourism in Western Thailand in partnership with grassroots volunteer projects, non-profit organizations, and sustainable enterprises in Thailand and elsewhere.
Volunteers work closely with local leaders in environmental, social, or economic initiatives that improve community well-being and provide the volunteers with opportunities for consciousness-raising and social networking.
IVTT is partnered with the Neo-Humanist Foundation, a non-profit organization in Thailand (registration #5008), to provide volunteer opportunities in their community projects at Ananda Vidyadharma (Dada's Home) and Baan Unrak House of Joy, two children's homes in Kanchanaburi province.
