International Volunteer Tourism Thailand (IVTT) consultancy
For Host Communities, IVTT will:
Work closely with the local leaders in the Neo-Humanist Foundation and other community groups in developing volunteer tourism programs, activities, marketing strategies, and management.
Hold consensus-based meetings, workshops and skill-building activities with community initiators, including youth.
Develop a program entitled Young Leaders in Sustainability to develop the next generation of social entrepreneurs by providing educational and job resources to Thai/Burmese youth.
Promote a diversified local economy, one that uses innovative, collaborative, bottom-up approaches to volunteer tourism.
Connect local handicraft producers and farmers to fair trade businesses and other agencies in Thailand and in foreign countries such as Japan and Canada to increase market visibility and sales.
Conduct research that meets the needs of the community.
Source grants, build partnerships with international development agencies and the non-profit sector in Thailand, and encourage volunteers to lead fundraising campaigns in their home countries.
